The Boat Lagoon Hotel Pool and surrounds by daylight

When I woke to the daylight today, this is what I found I and around the hotel ...  

as well as 90+% humidity and 33+C temperatures ... those UK Chinos were NOT a good idea :-)

So THAT'S why they call it the Boat Lagoon!

My room over there at the back somewhere - A few laps in there every day can't hurt, now can it??

First night by the pool - late arrival in Phuket after very loooong journey from South Africa

Johannesburg - Dubai (3 hour layover) - Bangkok (4 hour layover) - Phuket ... 24 hours of travelling, 5 hours gained and verrry tired on arrival .... but look at the compensations:-
